Swim Speed Secrets Clinics

Last year, the USMS Swimmer magazine had a review of the book, Swim Speed Secrets by Sheila Taormina. In addition to the book, Sheila published a 16 week workout program with swim workouts and dryland training. In case you do not know who Sheila Taormina is, she is a four time Olympian. In 1996, she lead the 4 x 200m women's relay to a gold medal with a time of 2:00.57. She also competed in the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympic games in the triathlon finishing sixth in 2000. In her last Olympics in 2008, she competed in the modern pentathlon. To promote her book, Sheila will be giving swim clinics in Las Vegas, Denver, Atlanta, Chicago and Seattle. Clinics will include instructional theory, in water practice, a flash drive with your underwater video, video analysis with suggestions for improvements, dryland training, a copy of her book and a small goody bag Each clinic lasts three hours and will have a limited number of participants - about ten.
