I have been looking through meet results and noticed that often times there is only 1 or 2 swimmers per event/age group. In the actual meet do they group age groups together or are there many heats w/only 1 or 2 swimmers in them?
They will do heats based on the entry time per swimmer. So you will be swimming against all ages male and female. Results are then posted by age group. Hope this helps.
