Location: Trees Pool, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA
Pool: 50Meters x 25 yards – swim will be counter-clockwise around the perimeter of the pool (4 buoys - one
in each corner).
Start: Registration will begin at 7:00am, Swim at 7:30am
Events/Swims: #1= 3K (20 laps)
#2= 5K (33 1/3 laps )
#3= 7.5K (50 laps)
#4= 10K (66 2/3 laps)
Eligibility & Rules: Open to all Masters, ages 18 and older. A copy of your 2011 USMS card must be attached to the entry form. USMS rules will govern the event.
Entries: All participants are asked to donate a minimum of $20. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Ballou Skies. Day of event registration only…please do NOT mail in registration.

Saturday, May 7th, TPIT be hosting their 2nd Annual Team Pittsburgh Masters Charity Swim. This year we will be turning Trees Pool into Trees "Lake" and the swim will be around the perimeter of the pool. All the lane ropes will be removed and a buoy will be set up in each corner. The swim will be in the counter-clockwise direction and one lap around will roughly equal 150 metards (meter/yard combo). You can choose to swim 3K (20 laps), 5K(33 1/3 laps), 7.5K (50 laps) or 10K (66 2/3 laps).
We will be asking that each participant donate a minimum of $20. If you would like to donate more, then of course you are more than welcome. Or, if you would like to ask others to sponsor you, that would be fine too. Our charity this year is Ballou Skies. Please see the link below to learn more about what they are raising money for.
