Where: Boston Harbor, Boston, MA Description: August 13, 2010 – Boston Light Swim – Boston Harbor – Boston, MA – 8 miles. The BLS is a USMS sanctioned event (041-009-SOWS). The “granddaddy of American open-water swims” was started back in 1907. The race starts in the cold waters next to Boston Light, 8 miles off shore. This challenging race should be on your list of “must do” swims.
