if I take the train it will take me nearly as long to get there as someone flying from the eastcoast to stockholm and then up to Luleå. I've never been that far north but I am hoping to go...Luleå is 230miles farther north that I have been during my 9 yrs over here.
The following weekend is Vansbro OW weekend with serveral races over 3 days. I've been there 4 times and will be going back next summer. My first time I only swam the 3km. The second year there was a 5km and I swam that as well as the 3km. the 3rd year I swam the 5km, 1km and 3km. last year I swam the 1500, 1km and 3km. this year I might give the 10km a shot.

on friday there will be for the first time a 10km swim followed by a 1500m
on sat is the 1000m races one is open for everyone the other for women only
on sunday is the main race 3km. last year there were 4697 men and 1975 women that completed the race. several 100 more than that signed up but DNS and only a few that DNF
