Uhhhhhhhhhhh, other activities. ;) I am a cert. diver but did not dive that trip. We did a lot of free-diving and snorkeling though, everyday. Did a few day trips around the island. A lot of us (almost everyone...?) got quite sick on that trip, with a flu or something really nasty. I was more ill than I had been in years, luckily it hit me the last 3 days and well after the race. I had a long return trip to get back home to Toronto (connections, airports, back-to-back delayed flights, 9 hours stuck at the Aruba airport, stuck overnight in Miami - all with the flu - 30 hours to get home, it was quite bad actually.) Bonaire can be a challenging island to get to but it is worth the trip.
I will go back to do the Eco Swim again for sure. It was my first OW race and it hooked me.
