  • FYI the average price of calling with a cellphone from Sweden to the US is between $1.00 and $1.30 per minute depending on the swedish operator. it's been along time since I have had a phone account in the US, but over here we also pay for the international charge for incoming calls. SKYPE and MSN Messenger will work great for those of you staying at a hotel with internet and can wait until the evenings to report home. or those of you with internet ready phones. My dad has rented a phone for the times they come over for vacation. I think it was from T-mobile but it could have been through AT& T as well. There are prepaid SIM cards in sweden, so if you have a 3 band phone you might be able to get a card for you phone, and save on local calls. I'm thinking more along the lines of when the men and women want to make plans while being at two pools, there might be lots of phone calls between the two sites.
