NEW YORK, October 17, 2006 – Bermuda has been voted the Best Island in the
Caribbean/Atlantic region by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler magazine.
This is an excellent annual multi-distance event, started 17 years ago by on-island swimmers (some of whom still participate) and attracting a variety of participants from all corners. Good meet organization, challenging but manageable course in Harrington Sound, beautiful environment, and great local vibe all add up to huge fun whether you're swimming for time for just for the distance. Highly recommended to all ow enthusiasts!
The 2007 Bermuda RTS swim was great! Very well-organized which showed in how smoothly the event was executed. Lots of group activities, including valuable practice swims and course review. Water temperature was ~78 degrees, very comfortable for swimming. Bermuda is quite beautiful, everyone was friendly and helpful to tourists!
