DIV I Men's NCAA is not the only venue with fast swimming. At this morning's session of the 2004 NEM SCY Championship Fred Schlicher broke the 55-59 Men's 400 IM record by 9 seconds! (4:43).
"Fast Freddy" Schichler is also entered in the 200 free and 100 fly later today and is threat to break 3 USMS records in the same day! That might also be a record.

Small correction. Fred is in 55-59 now.
Oops of course..he turns 56 this June but looks and swim a lot younger.
He now hold the 200 fly record for 50-54 AND 55-59.
