I swam my first ever in my life meet this weekend. Officials/refs (not sure what you call them LOL) were very helpful and kind. Thank you to those of you who make it possible for us to swim. Btw, I didn't DQ and that's not why I'm saying this. I was on the very kind and receiving end of some helpful hints/tips, and everyone else was kind enough to help show me ropes when needed. Your first time is a bit stressful, you guys helped along with a bunch of others to make me feel welcomed.
