Hi everyone,
I'm just new to swimming for fitness and was wondering if there are any swim workouts to build muscle?
I would think that workouts that focus on sprints and quick bursts would build muscle faster than slow, endurance runs. Am I right?
Can anyone suggest a workout schedule for maybe 45mins to 1 hour per day that would help people like me achieve this goal?

Swimming will tone and shape your muscles in several ways. Yet, the best thing for you to do is get with the UNC masters coach for better workout planning. The team may have a dryland workout time for people to increase muscle.
