There are also the people who put it all out there... who say, "I'm going to do this" in a very public way, so that if they fail, everyone knows it. And they show that even if they fail, they are willing to try again. Plus, they explicitly try to inspire others to reach for things that they might have thought were impossible.
So, while I admire the scientist toiling away quietly in the laboratory, I also appreciate the Stephen Jay Goulds and Richard Dawkinses of the world who bring science to the people.
Is there a date when she will try again?
She will hit the water in mid July, the date will depend on currents, winds, etc.
I'll be in Key West for a week starting July 21st, sure hope it happens while I'm there!
