This is a link to a story about the swimmer in the local paper from Wenatchee. Not a huge article, but at least she's getting something. :applaud:

Girl who inspired Lake Chelan swim dies of cancer

KALISPELL, MONT. — Katelyn Roker, the 6-year-old Montana girl who inspired Emily von Jentzen to the first nonstop swim the 50-mile length of Lake Chelan, has died.
Katelyn died Saturday night at home, the girl’s mother, Jamie Roker, told Kalispell TV station KPAX Sunday. She had been battling neuroblastoma, a form of cancer that attacks the nerves, since early 2010.
Von Jentzen, a Kalispell attorney and triathelete, challenged herself to swim the length of Lake Chelan to raise money for Katelyn’s experimental treatments. She completed the 36-hour swim Sept. 2. The feat — believed to be the first nonstop swim of the lake — raised $8,000 for the family. Katelyn and her family drove from Montana and visited von Jentzen during the swim.
Katelyn probably touched and inspired more people in her short life with her courageous battle with cancer than most people do in 80 years, von Jentzen wrote in a blog entry Sunday.
