Kirk Nelson had a wonderful suggestion: to post pictures of where we swim OW. I'd love to see pictures of venues, vacation spots, and the local swimming hole.
So I'll try.
Here are OW photos from Maine. They include our annual 4th of July Swim in Falmouth, the Peaks to Portland Swim (from Peaks Island to East End Beach in Portland), and the Rockland Harbor Swim.
We are lucky to have a great group of open water swimmers to train with.

The Cove itself is just to the south of that shot. You can see the north "wall" of it.

Some year I'll get down to Bend for the Elk Lakes swims. It looks spectacular!
