will once again be held at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
The 2008 Trials set a new standard for swimming excitement and 2012 promises to bring even more poolside thrills to America's Heartland.
Check back often for updates as we draw closer to naming the team that will represent the United States in the pool at the London Olympic Games.

For a nation that reveres distance swimming with an amazing tradition in the men's 1500, kind of a letdown to see a 15:19 as the top seed at Aussie trials.
I agree. Also only 21 men are entered in the 1500 and 14 women in the 800. And it's not that the qualifying standards are ridiculous, either. The 21st seed in the 1500 is a 16:08 (the US cut is 15:53) and the 14th seeded woman is 9:00 (US cut is 8:50).
In the men's 400 free prelim, David McKeon was the top qualifier with a 3:48. He was the only one under 3:52. It took 3:55 to make it back for the final. I wonder if Ian Thorpe is kicking himself right now for not going after the 400.

+ Entries will be accepted from Wednesday, March 28, 2012, until 1:00 p.m. (Central Time) Monday, June 18, 2012, through the On-Line Entry (OME) process at usaswimming.org/trials
& Times submitted to the USA Swimming SWIMS database by June 10, 2012, will be in the database. If a time for a swimmer is visible in the public search feature on the USA Swimming website (Times/Time Standards) and it was swum in the appro-priate qualifying period, it is considered a proven official time.
