Relays don't count towards a "three peat?" Lochte and Phelps were both on the last 3 Olympic 4 x 200 relays. I guess not because no one in the press brought that up.

Phelps has said his Olympic photo was taken about 30 seconds after Bob Bowman woke him up from a nap when NBAC was at a Colorado training camp. It's actually kind of impressive how bad Lauren Perdue's picture is because she has such a gorgeous face.

Lochte hasn't been the same swimmer since they had him anchor the 400 FR. :( Yeah he looked Fochte after that race... :D

Ande, I think these are the athlete ID pix. When I worked at the Torino Winter Games, they shoved me up against a white wall and took my picture after jet lag and a 10 hour flight. Yikes i thought mine was bad. Ouch:) Wow look like mug shots Take a look at: Lochte & Phelps Franklin Beisel Vollmer Soni Lauren Perdue Hersey Adams At least Allison Schmitt's is one of the better ones & her warmth comes across. My guess is these pics were used on their Athlete IDs. They look like the subjects were given little warning, shot by an ameteur early in the morning before practice, then thrown together in a hurry at the last second. No Make Up. No Pro photog Poor Lighting No Photo Shop Blank expressions most with little emotion from the subjects They also lack uniformity on how much of the swimmers face is featured. Some are up close, some are futher back. Now on the other hand Aliaksandra HERASIMENIA who got 2nd in the 100 free, her pic looks model gorgeous. Is she Katherine McPhee's long lost sister? Which leads me to believe USA Olympic Swimming shot ours and turned them in as opposed to all athletes being processed in their first day at the Olympics like students getting their Student IDs.

Take a lookat Li X in the picture next to Beisel. Looks like she has an adam's apple.
