The idea of suing is ridiculous. The coach/AD screwed up. Sorry for the athlete. I think it is comical that they suggested adding a heat to accomodate her.
I think the rules are rules and that's it.
Rules are rules, having been the entry chair for many larger USS meets I understand completely. But not much of a stretch to simply say, "We will accept the entry, even tho delivered to the wrong place." As previously noted there was an entry, we know what it was, go with it...(I find it unbelieveable that the entry chair, did not notice the #1 seed not being there. had it been me, I would have looked for the entry, had I then found it I would have had plenty of time to seed the races properly). I also find it interesting that the entry chair is unavailable the weekend entries are due. Some consideration is warrented here.
