Hey, Ninny, where in So. Cal. are you from? I was born and raised in Long Beach, then lived in San Diego from 1980-2004. We would still be there if we could have afforded to retire there. But, we chose my husband's retirement at 55 and selling the payed off house during the boom over working forever... When I think of the equity we would have lost if we had stayed... :afraid:
