Too funny! So much for Regional Clubs trying to claim they don't simply pull people together for relays who don't even know one another!
In our defense, I was living in VA for 2 years prior to the relay. I had kept my membership with OREG so that I could go back to LC Nats and swim relays with them. So a lot of people had joined after I had moved from OR to VA and therefore didn't know me and I didn't know them.

So, when is Zones, so I can see this battle (I hope!). Michael is after me, too, but as I just told him,

End of April? How close to Nationals (April 28th)? I'm going to have to see how my travel budget gets allocated for 2011. A lot depends on the availability of "working" cruises. But, I would really like to spend my travel $ on SCY and LCM Nationals. And, I have to go to California in January and May for family obligations... Yikes! Their goes the budget... :badday:
Besides, the only grudge match I can win is beating Michael in breaststroke! :D

When I swam at Badger State - I was the only person there from my team. Apparently that was the case with a lot of people. So for the 6-7 relay teams that were there for the 4x100 relay were all people who were just signed up for fun!
Based on the order, I went off you since I did fly. I remember how crazy relays were. I was all changed for the day on that Friday, suit in the car even and Jon tells me I'm on a relay and to go change. I had to tun since they were on heat 2 and I was in heat 10. Made it but barely. No warm-up for that one, either.

MJ, I had a blister for months after from running in my crocs to my car. And remember, it was over 100º that day, too. I told Jon I had better get a medal out of it. We did, 10th :)

The Zones meet hasn't been set yet. Usually it's the 3rd weekend in April, though. With Nats being so early this year, I'm not sure if they will change the date or not. It's a 3 days meet with distance being the first day.
For those with little to no attention span, it's really a 2 day meet. The first day is a travel day for those of us that can't focus for more than about 2 mintues.
