    Thank you Wookiee :)
  • MJ, did you know we were in a relay together in 2008? Yup. At LCM Nationals and we got Top 10. I didn't even know until today. 200 Medley Relay LCM Women 160-199 (2008) 6 OREG Oregon Jeanna Summers (54) Mary J Caswell (47) Alison B Moore (38) Elizabeth A Watkins (43) 2:31.58 Wow... to Ahelee. Too darn funny. I was your breaststroker, so we were at opposite ends of the pool. Relays there were crazy and I manned the relay desk with the help of my DH (darling hubby) and Ann Goodman. I spent most of my time in the working room where everyone checked in. I had one relay where one teammate didn't show up, so I saw a buddy arrive at the pool and yelled at him - you in a relay? not for the mixed medley, so he was our freestyler. No warmup. And we got a slow start, our breaststroker caught a few folks and I mopped up a few more in the fly so he had to sprint. We still giggle about that today. Be careful arriving late if I'm on a relay and looking for a 4th teammate.... I could not agree about Ahelee. Fast, sweet and classy. Folks like her make me so happy to be in this sport. --mj

I was all changed for the day on that Friday, suit in the car even and Jon tells me I'm on a relay and to go change. I had to tun since they were on heat 2 and I was in heat 10. Made it but barely. No warm-up for that one, either.
  • :bump: Official TT list for SCY10 is out. http://www.usms.org/comp/tt/ So now that TT is out - when do they put out qualifying times for nationals? I need to know what events I have a chance for in my age group.....

You know what - I just saw someone with a 200 freestyle time that was faster than my 100 freestyle time on that list... Nevermind I'm just going home :(

I tabulated the scores for a Mythical National Championship for SCY10 based on the TT times. Results are here. Bragging rights this year in SCY belong to the Dixie Zone, the Pacific LMSC, and New England Masters as the top club. (If you care about such things, the top "local" club was Walnut Creek.) Happy to have contributed! :applaud::banana:
  • Woo hoo!! I finally made Top 10 in SCY. I'm doing this right now :bliss: My goal has been to make it in SCY for about 5 years. I made it this year in 2 relays. 10th in the 200 Medley relay from Nationals and 2nd in the 400 medley relay from Zones. Thank you to my relay mates who helped me finally make this dream.
  • oddly enough, in the mens 25-29 age group, of the 20 available spots, 19 different people who achieved top ten between the 1000 and 1650.
