That is an absurd exaggeration, but I think that is the point, a concern about how far things can be pushed before the sport becomes grotesque. Fins and flotation devices are not allowed, but some of these tech suits were close to doing the same things as those devices.
This is a dangerous lumping of the pre-2008 and post-2007 suits into the same category. They are completely different in design and construction.
And Mel and Grace *** have disappeared from the swim scene too ...

This guy calls Rowdy a "stain" and urges us all to try training. I really hate when some idiot tells me to "train."
What I love is he calls out the 104 records broken as SCY Nats. Um, hello? Most of those were records that had been set in those same suits so it's not just the suit and a significant percentage of records were not just broken, they were SMASHED which I'm sure has to be the suit because we all know that the current suits enable one to shave multiple seconds over a 100 yards.
