Ok, the hotel reservation is made and the plane tickets are purchased. Now I just have to figure out what to swim and keep training. And, enter the meet. And, get excited about Nationals. Oh, but not too excited otherwise I'll already be tired when I get to the venue. And, figure out what to pack. And, figure out how to pay for it all. And, have good swims (hopefully). And, ....
I entered the 50,100,& 200 BR(big surprise) and the 50&100 fly.I thought of making the 200 fly my 6th event, but it is before the 200 BR(I know there is lots of time between the 2,but it takes even longer than that for me to recover from a 200 fly-like a week.)
Nice to hear a breaststroker finally admit that he isn't tough enough to swim a real event. :)

Last summer I saw Allen swim the 200 fly LCM. In that race, he set the Northwest Zone record for M60-64.

There are other strokes available, you do realize that?
Yeah, but then I would have to learn how to do them. I have enough trouble with freestyle where flailing about aimlessly is perfectly legal.
I will be at Nat's this year. Have not been to one in a few years. I am definitely swimming the 100/200 fly and the 100/500 free. Other 2 events, will either be the 1650, 200 free, 50fly, 50 free. Will decide on those last 2 events in another month or so.
Im driving down from Ohio on Wednesday, not a bad drive about 7 1/2hrs and staying at the Reniassance.

Oooh...that's what ya get for being a mouthy unc grad. :)
That would indeed be impressive...if done in a real Zone.
(Gotta start the smack talk early, we have less than 3 months until nats.)

Tell Dave Radfcliff,Tom Landis,Rick Collela,Dennis Baker,Scott Lautner,Mike Tennent, etc.it's not a real zone(and that's just guys I thought of off the top of my head, our women are even better.)I'll swim 200 fly at our Assn meet.
