Hi everyone. My first time with a technical suit. I am 49 yo. 5'4" and about 126 lbs.small chested. Little tummy left over from pregnancies, but in pretty good shape. I got a 25L and a 25 to try. The 25 L is tight everywhere except in the chest, and I have heard they can catch water in the chest. The 25 is tight EVERYWHERE , and kind of painful in the shoulders, and pretty darn tight in the thighs. will it loosen up in the water in the length? right now it is uncomfortable, but I do not have any experience what happens when they get wet, or used a few times.
Thank you so much in advance for any feedback.
keep in mind, new suits are tight at first, then stretch out some after each wear
recordbreaker FS pro fit is a very good suit
Most women have an issue getting their suits past their hips
Will it stretch in the length as well as width?
yes I believe it will
ande
yes it was very hard getting past the hips, and I do not have wide hips. What do yo think about the length, and it being tight in my shoulders. Will it stretch in the length as well as width?
Thanks.

Don't have the answers to those questions, but I do have one! I know they have allowed the tech suits for the USMS one-hour swim, but does anyone know what the USMS ruling will be for any other meets in January or February.....or after that? SCY is already into it's season!

FINA meets soon,I think this weekend.Once they have decided what to do USMS will decide(almost certainly to follow FINA in meters,in SCY it may get interesting.)
On a somewhat related note, I have heard that you should buy the FS Pro 4 sizes down (e.g., if you normally wear a 30, you should buy a 26). Is this true, and would the same hold true for other pseudo-tech suits like the Tyr Tracer?
Edit to add: Also, how do you know whether you should order "long" or regular? (I am 5.4" and wouldn't think I would need long, but the original poster is my same height and ordered a long.)
Come on USMS - make up a ruling that we can swim with this season !!!
I would like to know WHAT suit I can use BEFORE the state meet in April in Illinois !!!
I'd like to know before my meet at the end of this month!
