Go The Distance 2010 logging will officially be done through the fitness logs on the USMS website. Some of us old fogies still like the spreadsheets that Mary Sweat has used since the GTD inception. It's cool (at least I think so) to compare your progress -- or lack thereof -- from one year to the next.
Mary said it would be fine to put the two 2010 spreadsheets up on my website. The basic one has the just the 2010 worksheet and graphs. The advanced spreadsheet has worksheets for prior years as well. You can get them here:

Thanks for posting the spreadsheets. I wish that the person I e-mailed about them would have mentioned that someone had updated them even though FLOG was the only officially supported method for submitting distances. Oh well, glad I thought to search the website.
Thanks again.
I believe many cells are locked to minimize the chance of an accident. I suspect I can guess the password if someone's interested in messing with things.

Yes, I would be interested. I am fairly handy with Excel, and would love to be able to adapt this to other uses without having to recreate some of the excellent work that has already been done.

The 2010 Go the Distance event is well underway! As of today, 879 people are participating. Four of those have already hit the 50-mile mark.
The results are tabulated DAILY and can be viewed here:

If you haven't signed up yet, you can do so at any time. You can enter your past data if you have been keeping track of it outside of your FLOG.
Instructions for how to sign up are here:
www.usms.org/features.php
A list of participation awards can be found here:

I've saved the spreadsheet on my PC because I would like to use it for 2011 planning. Is there an un-protected version, or can you share the password, please? I'd like to change the dates for 2011 to show the correct day of the week for each date. Thanks!
It was very helpful this year to have both the spreadsheet and the online FLOG...any chance that a 2011 spreadsheet will be created?

The author of the GTD spreadsheet, Mary Sweat, sent me the 2011 version of her spreadsheet. Her contact information is on the "Intro" page of the 2010 version of the spreadsheet.
