Being an average swimmer and not owning a high tech suit I have never cared about what suits others wear. All I wanted to do was swim my own race, although I will admit that winning is fun.
However, at a inter-squad meet this past Friday I borrowed a old fastskin hi-neck kneeskin from my coach. WOW!! What a feeling!!
Swam five events in one hr. (yes I know, a lot for 1 hr.).
Swam "masters" personal best in two events.
Swam a lifetime PB in one event.
The other two events were very repectable swims for me.
I am not bragging, just wanted to find an audience that would understand. Wish I would have bought a suit earlier.
But if you do get hairy palms and don't want to shave them, do you think FINA would let us wear B70 mittens?
No Jim,obviously FINA is getting more money from Gillette than they could from B-70 and Jaked.That is the true reason for the ban.
