I guess you don't have to go all the way to Nationals to have a VERY fast Masters meet .... Live Results results.liveswim.net/.../ Psyche Sheet www.spma.net/.../2009_CLU_LCM_Championships_Psych_Sheets.pdf
  • That is what I felt about doing Colonies Zones since I couldn't get to/wanted to put the time and money into doing Clovis.

VERY fast times, including a new 100 free record for Hochstein, if I am not mistaken. But Dennis Kim's time in the 200 free has to be a misprint. 1:45.0 should be 1:55.00, right? It does look like some really fast times at this meet. I also note Michael Mann's 2:22 in the 200 IM. Thanks for putting it up.
  • There are a lot of "fake times" listed, especially on the 400 free. Never know if that is a good thing or a bad thing - usually people estimate their times slow, not fast. Nothing like hopping in with a guy who lists a 4:50.00 400 free and really swims like a 4:32.09.

These are not the results yet -- entry times .. the meet is coming up this weekend.
  • Great 400m by ehoch! I saw the 18:45 seed time on the psych sheet and wondered what was up. Then sure enough, ehoch somehow hit that time squarely after an 1100 warmdown just like when Paul Smith entered the 1000 free with 11:00, went 46 for the first 100, did a 900 warmdown and ended up very close to his entry time. How do you guys figure this stuff out?!? 3 Hochstein, Erik 41 SCAQ-SP 18:45.00 18:46.81 6 28.04 58.66 (30.62) 1:29.71 (31.05) 2:01.07 (31.36) 2:32.53 (31.46) 3:04.13 (31.60) 3:35.60 (31.47) 4:06.74 (31.14) 5:16.10 (1:09.36) 6:05.95 (49.85) 6:49.03 (43.08) 7:30.57 (41.54) 8:13.49 (42.92) 8:52.05 (38.56) 9:29.72 (37.67) 10:08.30 (38.58) 10:47.47 (39.17) 11:24.41 (36.94) 12:01.23 (36.82) 12:37.98 (36.75) 13:15.10 (37.12) 13:52.45 (37.35) 14:29.48 (37.03) 15:05.89 (36.41) 15:43.14 (37.25) 16:19.71 (36.57) 16:57.22 (37.51) 17:34.66 (37.44) 18:11.31 (36.65) 18:46.81 (35.50)
  • The plot thickens. Ehoch is entered in the 400 free today with a 4:28. So... will this be a 200 free followed by a warmdown? 400 IM? 400 backstroke? One-man beer relay?
