Ahelee Sue Osborn just broke the national record in the 400 IM with a 4:56!! :applaud:
Go Ahelee!!
Dave Radcliff took the national record in the 200 free (74-79 age group) with a 2:08.77
No fair, Kirk Nelson getting to swim in the Women's 85-89 age group...
And I still got second place! In all fairness Margery Meyers' swim was more impressive.
Go Ahelee!!
That was Laura Val's record too! Ahelee won the 200 free with a 2:01 and 100 back with a 1:03.3 as well.
Lordy, my speedy teammate Speedo dropped from 1:53 to 1:46 in his 200 free. :applaud: What a taper!
I see Chris Stevenson and Patrick Brundage had a nice duel in the 200 free, with ehoch ultimately winning. Chris also won the 100 back.
Nice, My teammate/training mate had a amazing 200 ***. He really stepped it up at practice the last few months and it showed today.

That is so cool that Clovis results are added to the USMS Results DB very quickly. Now, when you are the Colonies Zones Champs going to be added??? Sorry, just a little impatient.
No fair, Strand has had pneumonia. He wasn't even going to go to the meet. He was flat on his back last Saturday. But he loves to compete, so he couldn't stay away. You notice he didn't swim any of the TOC relays.

Yes,Bob was sick until recently so it isn't the same as beating him at 100%.None the less that is my best time in a very long time and I am very happy with it.The meet is amazingly well run and was way ahead of the timeline today. The lack of shade/sunburn is a problem however.
