2008 SCM results in Meet Results Database www.usms.org/.../toptimes.php several more meets need to be submitted but this will give you an idea of where you stand for 2008 SCM top 10s how do you rank so far?
  • That someone is the top ten recorder for the LMSC where you swam the meet. Note - they will send the official LMSC top ten report for the season, not make changes to Event Rankings. If you are really worried, send him/her an email.
  • I hope someone can fix mine in the 1500 Free which is showing red. I would hate to lose out do to a techinicality. I know I am not alone since Glider is in the same boat. Donna, I bet this will be cleared up without a problem. Submission for Top Ten -- due Jan 26 -- is more involved than submissions than for "current top times." I can't speak for your Top Ten person, but I know that I chase down everyone's USMS ID for my submissions. And if I get anything wrong, Mary Beth Windrath has an eagle eye and will be sure to catch it. So as long as your registration was in order when you swam, you'll be fine. Though it doesn't hurt to drop a line to your Top Ten person (maybe, for example, your USMS ID number was entered incorrectly into the Meet Manager file).
  • As of now, I should make Top Ten for the 800, 1500 and 200 fly. I don't think that my 400 IM ranking will hold due to the New England Champs this weekend.
  • ...the New England Champs this weekend. What other championship meets are occuring this weekend or is NEM the last to go?
  • The only other meet I've noticed the rest of the year was the Mizzou Masters Meet, hosted this weekend by Jim Matysek. And he could bump me out of a TT...:bump: Jim M, how'd you do? I totally forgot about that meet. Thanks.

Donna, I talked to Saltzman at the USAS meet Friday. He has all our IDs for the SCC meet. He's just a little, how you say... miffed at the meet folks for not including them with the results. I'll follow up with him on email and copy you. I hope someone can fix mine in the 1500 Free which is showing red. I would hate to lose out do to a techinicality. I know I am not alone since Glider is in the same boat.
  • Cool! Now, all we need is the New England Champs results to be posted to determine my Top Ten Fate! Of course, I know that I have to count for the three Out of the Blue Top Teners that always show up.
  • These results are now in the db and Matysek bumped me to 11th in the 100 BR. Nice swims today, Jim! Don't you hate when that happens!
  • Mark, Looks like you came out unscathed on the 50 and 200 ***. Sorry about the 100. But Jim was so nice to apologize to you perhaps he should buy you a drink:chug:. I hope everything is in now. If so this would be my first ever top ten ever:bliss:. The closest I came was 2 years ago in my old age group where I was 11th in the 1500 Free.
  • A side note - while we can't begin to compete with the number of records set at the SPMA meet, I'm happy to report that we did have a world record at the Mizzou meet today. Jay Yarid set a world record in the 200 Back, 45-49 age group, at 2:10.43. :cheerleader: ....a great time which unfortunately for Jay will go down about 10 months from now when CS ages up.:)
