March 2008 Gridge Thread

What?!?! I am absolutely tone deaf and can't carry a tune. Someone else has to be Captain Karaoke. I'm good at making reservations at cheap restaurants though ... We did Red, Hot & Blue last year. I could use some gridges for April. Anyone want a 100 fly gridge? I won't be able to gridge SwimmieAvs and Julie in the 100 back because I'm swimming the 100 fly instead. But I'm up for our usual 50 back gridge. And I seeded myself appropriately Julie, so no lecturing. :thhbbb: I will admit upfront to sandbagging the 100 IM though. I'm following ande's tips for getting more rest before my 100 fly. So there. I would gladly lead the group in Karaoke. Unfortunately for those who were present I have some experience. I'm not going to give you any crap about sandbagging anything after you not only didn't scratch any events last weekend like the rest of us, and you actually ADDED an event. GO FORT! I will gridge with you in the 50 free :rofl::rofl: since I will only be swimming Sunday at zones. I hope to make it back from school in time for dinner on Saturday, but somehow I doubt I will :(

Since Stud won't acknowledge my 200br gridge, I'll have to throw out a new one. A karaoke gridge! The only song I can sing is 'Ball and Chain' by Social Distortion. Do they have that song at karaoke bars?

No this is the "psyching you out" stage...you think I'm running scared then I'll remind you 2 minutes before your heat that you're in a gridge! Now pretend I didn't tell you that... Pretending, pretending, pretending... I'm serious about the karaoke gridge!

I also know "Who Can It Be Now," and "Down Under." Yes, I was a Men at Work fan! Still not so challenging as "Love Shack" though.
