So, I see a few of you already into your 2008 SCY meet schedules. So, I got to thinking...I wonder who's going where this year?
This might be a great way to plan to make some new friends (drinking)/have some fun (drinking) with old ones once again...dang my (drinking) key is sticking again.

- St. Patrick's Day Invitational, Atlanta, GA, 3/15-16
- GA Northern Divisionals, Athens, GA, 3/28-30 (*USA-S meet)
- Gary Eaton Memorial Invitational, Atlanta, GA, 4/25-27
3. No to Nats for now. The Gary Eaton meet is my taper meet.

Meets-right now only NW Zones Apr 11-13(our Assn Meet is Apr 4-6,but it will be LCM to prepare us for LCM Nats.) I won't be at SCY Nats as I usually go to LCM Nats.

3. No Nationals for me. The zone meet will be my taper meet. I need more speed before I'll travel to Nationals!!! (Although I am relatively close to NQT for LCM Nats in the 50 free! Figure the odds on that!)

SCY:
1. March 1, Frank Clark Meet (Greensboro, NC - Grimsley). I think I'll be at this one. It'll remind me of all of those senior developmental sessions I shivered through at this pool when I was younger.
2. March 29, THAT Devil Spring Splash (Durham, NC). I've swum at UNC's pool many times, but this is the first time I'll get to take a look at Duke's pool.
3. April 19-20, NC Short Course Yards Championships (Raleigh?, NC). It's usually at Pullen Aquatic Center, but Raleigh has been stingy about allowing anyone to run meets there while Optimist is down for renovations. Maybe it'll be at this pool?
LCM:
4. June 28-29, State Games of NC (Greensboro, NC - Lindley Park Pool). An excellent opportunity to get shown up by people half and twice as old as I am.

Not very many meets, and the two middle ones require travel time, hotels, etc. so they are tentative right now. Nationals travel is a given.

3. Yep, I'm heading to Austin. Hotel, flights, and childcare are booked. My husband is also going to Oregon for LCM Nats. I don't know yet if the bank account will allow me to travel to that one.
