there is not anything scheduled at this point
I'm just checking levels of interest that I will share those who could make this happen
there's likely to be over 2,000 usms swimmers in Austin for Nats
do you think any of them would like to add a day or two to their Austin visit to either:
1) participate in a Swim Clinic right after Nationals with instruction by
Austin's world record holders and Olympians? or
2) watch a Duel in the Pool type meet where attendees could watch these athletes race then attend a meet and greet / photo opp / autograph opp right afterwards?
Just Curious,
Please let me know and I'll let them know

Young? Armstrong? Sedaka? Diamond? Patrick Harris?
Give it up, name dropper.
I'm sure he means Neil Walker, who is a part-time coach for Longhorn Aquatics.
I've already booked my ticket to leave first thing Monday morning, but I think Eddie and the Texas Trio, plus Neil and a few others, would not have a problem with an hourlong clinic.
It's a rare opportunity to have nationals at a university with such accomplished athletes. Take advantage of it!
Let me correct my earlier statement.
I would stay for a clinic on Monday. Would love for it to be about 2 hours or so but hey, beggars and all that....

likewise.
ande, i was planning on trying to stick around to celebrate cinco de mayo in tex-mex style... so with luck, i'll be around for whatever, whenever, as long as it doesn't interfere with some drinkin!

Lake Travis will probably already be pretty warm in May, but not as ridiculously hot as it will be in August and September. I'd go for an OW swim as well. I might be able to round up a kayaker or two, too.
