Okay, so is this how it is going to be for the rest of my life? Am I always going to smell like the pool? I shower, use shampoo, conditioner, soap down the body , use a body wash, cream up afterwards and a use good vanilla body spray. I STILL SMELL LIKE CHLORINE.
If anyone has some words of wisdom I would love to hear them.
Thanks
Katie
The best solution is to swim in a pool that doesn't use chlorine :)

Yes.

Learn to love it. It's easier & cheaper than trying to cover it up.
If you're really motivated, I've found that hitting the treadmill/bike/eliptical trainer and working up a good sweat after swimming helps.

It could be the pool. The year-round outdoor pool I swim in 3x/week is not overly chlorinated. On the other hand I have swam in the pool at bally's health club which is very heavily chlorinated and like you say, I smell like chlorine even after washing up, and the next time I'm on a treadmill I seem to sweat chlorine.
I love the smell of chlorine in the morning,it smells like VICTORY.

Thanks everyone
So now I guess this is just going to be the "smell of the new me" I won't mind so much when I am not so sore and I have lost some inches and weight LOL. Once I see some real progress I will probably love the smell.

What a good way to put it Allen.
That is funny you say that. Yesterday when I was tired and it was 2pm and I so wanted it to be 3:30 so I could go home for the weekend. I all of a sudden could smell the chlorine. I thought wow I have the right to be tired and I am so glad I swam this morning. SO you are right.
