Wednesday April 30th the swim center will be available for
USMS swimmers to use from 3 pm to 7 pm
tip: I recommend for swimmers who've never swum in the swim center to
show up a day or two early early to get used to turning on the bulkhead walls

Would it be possible to designate Slower and Faster lanes in the warmup pool? We have a 65 yr and over lane, but the chaos in the regular lanes could probably be improved with some designation. Or Warm Down Lanes and Warm up lanes?
I doubt most would pay attention.
Floswimming is awesome! But why did they discriminate against backstrokers?!

Just wanted to thank you all for making my trip to Austin, Texas worth the effort. Wonderful competition, wonderful pool and wonderful people.
It was really motivating to have seen the Masters Swimming in the US and meet you all!

I thought this was pretty cool. My alma mater, Michigan State, put a story up on their web site mentioning that me and a former teammate (Ron Orris) won events at Nationals: msuspartans.cstv.com/.../050708aaa.html
The story says I only swam two years. I actually swam all four, but only lettered twice.

That's funny because I think Garrett McCaffrey--who runs the site and does all the interviews--is a backstroker!
