Will they be able to keep the pool water a decent temperature? Or will the water be hot?
Good luck everyone!
Dana, it seems odd to swim the 50 free and the 1500. LOL. What about the stuff inbetween? Can't decide whether you're a sprinter or distance geek? Or just want to try something different? Of course, I know you're swimming that 800 free at zones too ...
people were getting DQed at worlds for wearing watches
does the same rule apply at NATS
I don't wear one but I thought watch wearers might want to know

I thought they somewhat recinded that rule sometime last year (they being one of the US governing bodies). From what I recall, the original language was vague and folks thought it was rediculous.

I believe that as well; in fact, I watched Michael Moore, Pacific Masters Chairperson-man, swim his 800 free at championships last month while wearing his watch.

I don't think of myself as a sprinter, but those are the events I qualify in:dunno:. I feel much better swimming longer distances, that still doesn't make them fast. The 1500 is mainly for fun and team bragging rights. Of my six events, I'm competing against a team mate in three of them. Swimming the "in between" stuff at zones.

Good luck to all...check out all the best spots for the rest of us to visit next May at SCY!!
I noticed this comparing the world and nationals records in quite a few instances. I wonder why?...
So far, a lot of world records set at last year's worlds aren't being recognized as such. I'm curious as well.
