...as I was contorting last night to remove offending follicles...I thought to myself, "Is it really worth the effort?" I mean I'm not top 20 let alone top 10, and although I give a gallant try and swim OK. I'm not a lighting bolt in the water.
Admittedly it's a nice thing to see a few abs lurking below the surface a little bit, which are not so observable with the man rug in full bloom, but beyond a little vanity clipping...is it worth it...or is it going to give me a psyche up that get's me a second off my 50 etc etc...
Anyone else ponder this sort of thing...

I wonder if high school girls still do this today? My guess is it would be a tough sell.
I guess the fresh effect would still be significant on the upper body...even if legs are shaved regularly...
YES! DO IT! It's worth it.
I'm serious.
I hope I'm clear here.
Just clean out the tub/ shower afterwards so Mrs. Stud doesn't scream in terror at the residue. It can get pretty nasty.
Frankly, I find an athletic, clean shaven man irresistable.
:D
There are alternatives to shaving - way back last century, when I was a triathlete, I used to get my legs waxed! Way quicker than shaving and not as painful as the womenfolk make it out to be. (Mind you, as I triathlete, I had already gotten used to wearing lycra and rubber).
...Mrs Stud hates the hairless look...get's freaked and finds it unmanly LOL
So what's the big deal Rich?....Just explain to her that your new look will match your general British persona a lot better now LOL! :thhbbb:

Kirk how'd you go. I jus squeaked in under 3:00 @ 2:57.62
I went a 2:36 or 2:37, so looks like I win the big prize! Honestly, I didn't swim very well yesterday, but I can claim that 200 *** as a personal best since I haven't swum it before!
Way to break the 3:00 barrier, Rich. It's a pretty tough race!
Thats a pretty fast 200 *** Kirk!! Congratulations! Did you negative split the thing....or at least come close to even splitting it?
No, I was out in a 1:15 according to one of my teammates. I haven't seen the official splits.
The guy next to me swam a 2:14 so I felt like I was swimming in place!
200 *** is so tiring that it saps the oxygen from the brain making miscounts inevitable:rofl:  I miscounted at Pacific zones once.I went way too deep on my start. By the time I finished cursing myself and worrying if I was DQd I had no idea how far I had swum. Fortuately I wasn't the fastest in my heat so when the leaders started another 50 I figured I needed to keep going:dunno:

Yeah I now have to work on getting down to your time territory...
Good Swim Kirk
