My old Fastskin has finally kicked the bucket and I am looking into getting a new suit.
I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the TYR suits and can compare them to the Fastskins (because they have worn both).
I'm just wondering if anyone out there has a good comparison for me? Which last longer? Which feel better in the water? etc and etc. Anything?

No way. Plenty of people wear swim suits except at the National level meets and even then there are still some that do. In my one and only open water swim I actually wore a two piece work-out bikini but there were other people in "fast" suits...
When I'm at an OW swim, the really fast people are in suits or jammers. The ones that wear the fast suits are (at least appear) the most out-of-shape!?!
I think to my self, save the money, get a coach, and eat salad!:joker:

Stacy FSII's & Pros are the same price ... at least on Speedousa.com ... I thought you had found some cheap ones online?
Yeah, I got a really cheap one from ebay - but it dosen't fit me (I think it's mismarked) so I'm trying to sell it to a friend of mine. My friend works for Kiefer, so I'm trying to weigh out my options right now.
I have worn both suits in races before. Don't know anything about the new pro suit...even though it does feel light. Reminds me of the old paper suits from the late 80's and early 90's.
I was never at the level to have one of those old paper suits myself back in the day, but my FSPro just came in the mail today. I can echo this sentiment. Feels exactly like it.
Now how I will fit into it... I guess I'll find out at Nationals.

Man, I am a fish out of water here; all this talk of Fastskins and I still only wear a swim suit. I guess I'd look pretty ridiculous on the blocks in a swim suit and not a fastskin .
