My mistake:
Instead of Marine-boys (I was thinking of my son who, at three, used to talk into a wrist-band before jumping into the pool, yelling "Marine-BOY!!!". It must have been the cartoon equivalent of "Man from Atlantis") I should have said "Marine-kids". Believe me, had there been a TV version of "Woman from Atlantis" I would have watched that assiduously and the undulations would have been imprinted on my conscious, sub- and un- .....
