Well, it's that time. End of another year spent overweight and out of shape. I'm done with this body. Time to go back into the pool. This time I will stick with it. Gonna follow the "zero-to-1 mile in 6 weeks" plan and go from there. Hard to believe I was an "A" swimmer circa 1983. :D
Wish me luck....

Update: Well, I changed the workout a bit. I just simplified it by adding 100 yards per week to the warmup until it equals a 1750. I am pleased to report that I'm up to 1400 yards without stopping now (all freestyle). This morning I could have kept going but I didn't want to overdo it. For awhile there the 350-400 yard mark was my pain point where I really felt like stopping and I had to fight through it to keep going. Now, there is no more plateau. I just keep going. Sort of like my arms are numb and there is some machine moving them for me.
Nanner dance!!
