Who is this Alber Suberats guy? And what's going on with Walker and Piersol? He is a really good backstroke from Arizona. He placed 2nd or 3rd in the 100 back at NCAA last year. Perisol and Walker are probably both in the middle of some intense training, with Worlds in March.

Truth be told, a number of really good 100 backstrokers have been good in the 50 free as well. Walker, Brian Retterer, Michael Gilliam, Matt Grevers,etc.

Well folks, old Albert just went 45.9.................in the 100 back??? split a 21.8. A full second and a half faster than the second place guy. Tapered, shaved, fins? Yowwzaa. What next? Saturday's 100 free is going to be a doozy.

More Again? Men's 100 yard Freestyle Albert Subirats takes the number one spot with a 43.01 100 freestyle going into tonight's finals. Arizona takes top 5 places in Prelims Neil Walker the number one seed going in........... out. Looks like we have a new superstar. It would appear he is only 19 or 20 years old.
