Ok I have been practicing my flip turns again. I am not too good at it I end up going sideways coming off the wall. I need to get a nose plug too because I cant get the hang of breathing out on the turn and water pours in my nose. Any flip turn tips..

I read somewhere to think of the wall as a piece of scalding hot steel that will burn your feet if kept on there longer than a 1/2 second. With that in mind, I try to make my time at the wall as short as possible. I am planning my pushoff before my feet even contact the wall.
This was the most intimidating part of swimming to me when I started and now it's second nature. The more you practice the easier it will become.
