Swimmers who constantly gripe about event orders. Pssssssssht!
You're right -- why gripe when you can just boycott the event?

I like to support CZ meets, but I think I'm passing on this one and going to a different meet where the discrimination against fly-backers is slightly more minimized. :) But you have fun swimming the 100 free-50 *** and 100 ***-50 free back to back!
I already addressed your retort...
See you in Boston... :p
I see ... you like to brag about theoretically being virile enough to swim back-to-back events but go to meets where you're not forced to ... Niiiice!
50 evil rematch in Boston after I smoke you at the Sprint Classic?

Hypothetically, if I were to enter this meet, I would go with the 100 fly, 200 back, 400 im, 200 fly, 100 back, and the 50 fly directly after the 100 back. Doing a 50 shortly after something else doesn't bother me too much. Whether I'm tired or not, I still don't know how to sprint! Oh wait, I'm supposed to be ranting in this thread... ok, I hired this smiley to do it for me: :bitching:

Real swimmers, AKA Breaststrokers, are strong and talented enough to handle back to back on several events...
See you in Boston... :p
Trouble recognizing lane-mates in street clothes
The other night we held our Annual Team Meeting.
A "young masters" swimmer (so no excuse) did not recognize our head coach sitting right next to him!
No sunglasses or hat - coaches disguise...
I have a hard time dealing with tri-athletes who are tech ridden and show up with every device known to man to swim with, including a buffet of hydrate drinks. Then they dive in and have the most unorthodox freestyle known to man.
In 1964 my wife and I were walking through the Eastgate Shopping Center in Hamilton Ontario. A beautiful lady walked up to me and said "Hi George". I did not recognize her, I asked where do I know you from. She said she was taking swimming lessons from me. I said "Oh - I'm sorry I didn't recognize you with your clothes on."
