I've been researching meet results.
What is seed?
Is it like a qualifing time to get into the finals?

Your seed time is the time you put on your registration form as an estimate of how fast you will swim in the meet. Based on the seed times, the swimmers are grouped by speed so (hopefully) everyone will be able to swim with other swimmers close to their speed.
Most of Horton's doughnuts are now delivered frozen and baked on site. The most popular doughnuts are Apple Fritters and Honey Crullers ( AKA " Tractor Tires " ). Tim Bits are also very popular and have been know to be called " Doughnut Holes ".
George brings up the relationship between cops and coffee shops. Usually cops get their coffee for free because it is cheap insurance for the operators. The incidents of crime around Tim Horton's is pretty low. Oh yea, never buy a used Ford Crown Victoria or Chev Caprice that has coffee cup rings on the dash as it is sure to have been a police car at some point. George you must have downed a lot a "Joe" navigating Hamilton's numerous one way streets?
The "In & Out" is slang for Beer Stores in Ontario.

To NBA fans, a double/double is 10 points and 10 rebounds, but
after re-reading the thread and all the talk about favorite coffee houses I am going to guess it has something to do with coffee.
hornHead brought up another strange lingo type word in another thread, it is a Truly Canadian term... DOUBLE / DOUBLE could anyone tell me what it means.? I know but I wonder if anyone else knows?
Yuk - Only at Tim Horton's it means Double sugar Double cream and has been in our vocabulary since the first Tim Horton's opened on Ottawa Street in Hamilton Ontario in the fifties. Now there are over 60 of these shops in Hamilton. The former owner of that store was on the Hamilton police force with me. When I was a cop I used to have my coffee there even though it was the only place a cop had to pay for the coffeee.
He now owns more shares in Wendy's than anyone else.
