Type of Suit?

Hello all. I started swimming for the first time in my life about a year and a half ago. As such I am very slow, but that is ok with me. I recently swam in my first masters meet and it was a lot of fun. I however need some suggestions on type of suit. I currently wear a baggy recreational suit, and my coach says time to upgrade. Since I have lost 70 pounds in the last year, (but still have all the skin) a speedo is out of the question, what I need is a comfortable but yet snugger fitting suit. Maybe just a better recretional suit? Your suggestions appreciated.

Hoosier, a standing ovation for you for losing 70 lbs. Been there, done that. Mark

Did anyone else see the new suits for women who are pregnant? They look really comfortable. I know that when a friend of mine and my sister both got pregnant, they had a terrible time getting suuits that woudl let them bew able to move their arms.

One of my sisters and a good friend were pregant at the same tiem. They coudln't find any suits that woudl let them workout . they both said that when they reached forward, the suit would hurt them. My sister, Randi, even got a very large suit & tied it in places. All women I'vbe spoken too say that when they were pregnant, they hated suits. this one looked like it took care of the problem.

Why are Jammers called that? Is it just because they are tight and you have to jam your legs into them, or is it something else?
