What's your poison: alcohol or sweets? My informal observation of swimmers after swimming is: swimmers= alcohol and runners=ice cream. This is based on a swim camp I attended where this played out. The tris were into the ice cream. What about you guys?
Since my colectomy, I can't drink beer. And as for ice cream, now I can eat it but it has to be very expensive and made from creme enghlais-not cheap soft serve. the best ice cream is ciao bella from New York. It is so much better than any other brand I've ever had!

Must be double-good Craig.
Now, ice cream. The best ice cream in the world and far and away the best milkshakes in the world are from an old-fashioned dairy creamery just east of Sicamous B.C., off the Trans-Canada Highway. Were their product available at meets I would enter 200brst, 200fly, 400im without fear, knowing that I would have their ambrosial delights waiting for me.
After swimming, it's eating - and about anything too.
I began swimming in the 1960's when I was 8 years old and I remember it always gave me an appetite.
On the way home from the pool, I had my parents stop by the fast food place for a cheeseburger.
Happy Swimming!
