Does anyone know the difference between silicone and latex swim caps? Does one work better than the other? Are there better caps to use for practice and for meets? Which kind of caps do you prefer to use?

Well let's see... I bought a Speedo silicone in January and it lasted through 100 hours of swimming. The chlorine and heat in the pool do make it stretch but it was about a month before it no longer felt like it was cutting off my circulation.
Mine started to get air bubbles and then tiny pockets of water about a month ago. So about 6 or 7 months of swimming at least 2 or 3 times a week wore it down.:)
