Lynne Cox. I mean the list is long, and most probably know those who were Olympic/World champions and the like. But I think she’s a very accomplished swimmer outside of usual realm of competitive swimming.
I grew up watching Lynne Cox train! She used to swim and run at the Alamitos Bay Peninsula, in Long Beach, where my family lived in the summer. I have been a fan ever since and read her books. AMAZING!
