In the Wild Card 200 IM, what order would you choose?

The Duel in the Pool featured a Mystery 200 IM LCM where the swimmer could choose the order of the four strokes (even leading off with backstroke from the block). I am not sure I would deviate from the standard IM. What order would you choose and why?

  • If I could do backstroke from a standing start off the blocks I’d start with back. Backstroke is my worst stroke and getting as far as I could off the dive and swim it the least of it possible would be best. Fly second while I’m still pretty fresh. Free third because breaststroke is my best stroke and the one I’m best at tired.
