Since we have some rivalries going on in other threads already, I was just curious, where'd you go to college? degree? swim?

Went to Purdue University freshman year.... BUT graduated from Indiana University (IUPUI) in 2001 - Elementary Education... swam... best darn pool in the country!
Joined USMS in the fall of last year. 7 months pregnant now, so no meets in the near future for me!
GO BOILERS!!! (once a boiler, always a boiler - plus hubby graduated from there).
Glendora HS (CA) class of '81 Coach Waggoner, Citrus College (CA) Coach Ralls, for one year, then joined the Army and quit swimming for quite a while. Now do it for exercise! And fun!
Graduated from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City as an Electronic Engineer, never practiced swimming in a team untill I got married as I am married with a swimmer since 13 years ago and very happy.
Learning that there is a lot to improve every time a go to a competition, as last week I participated in the Mexican Master Nationals and I was not able to get but a fifth place in 100 meter backstroke (35-39 age group), even when the level is much lower than the US Master National times.

Although I was able to bit for the first time my 30 second barrier for the 50 meter free.
:D
San Diego State Univ. No swim team that I knew of, but there was a nice pool to work out in for the Triathlon Team.
Mayo Clinic for my Grad work. No pool there.
Notre Dame, swam 4 years,
was pre-med then went to Auburn for Vet school
started swimming again when my kids took it up (about 10 years ago)
Now my daughter swims for Notre Dame - makes it kind of fun
Never swam competitively until last year, now I cant get enough! I love it!:woot:
Did ski competitively and have the knees to prove it.
Another New Englander, how nice!
Better keep those knees in shape, Chickadee, since your shoulders have the ouchies. I wish you a speedy recovery so you can keep right on competing with us USMS types.
