IRiver is coming out with a waterproof MP3 case, that can be used with one of their MP3 players. The player itself is quite small, and the case fits around it, with waterproof headphones and all (going to the IRiver site you can see a picture). I'm considering buying it (wouldn't it be great to swim with music?)
Has anyone tried waterproof radios, mp3 players or anything similar to it? I wonder how it would work if I could secure the player to my goggle strap... It certainly seems like a great idea in theory!

H2O Audio and OtterBox also make waterproof iPod housings. The OtterBox cases are a bit cheaper, but the H2O Audio cases have some useful accessories, such as neoprene armbands and swim belts. The swim belt is a great idea, because then the headphone cord doesn't get in your way while you swim. Also, having your iPod while you swim is really handy, since you can also use the iPod out of the water and won't have to purchase and load two mp3 players. SwimOutlet.com is having a promotion next week - buy an H2O Audio iPod housing, and receive a free swim belt!
Another good waterproof mp3 player to check out is the SnapSights H2O Man MP3 Player. This one is great because it runs on 1 AAA battery (very handy if you don't happen to always be near a computer) and it connects to the computer via USB port, so no extra cord to carry around.
