Hey Mel, did not mean to sound like I was being too negative. It is just 100.00 for entry fees sound steep. I probably can't go to the social, because I would only swim Sat and Sun and would not go over until after work on Friday.
However, I realize it is a National meet and will be more expensive. I am already trying to round up people for relays since it is so close to us.
The correct dates for the meet are April 21-24,2005. Thank you for bringing to my attention the error on the order of events sheet. This will be corrected!
My error when writing the URL address I put a period at the end of the address. I have deleted it, you should now be able to get to the entry. Thank you Mark for bringing this to my attention.
Please note the dates on the order of events page are wrong. Don't make hotel reservations based on these dates. Look at the front of the flier for the correct dates.

I tried to open the site but I couldn't. Is there another way to get the information?
Make sure you remove the period from the end of the link.

While we are hosting the Y Nationals, the event charge and surcharge is set by the YMCA National Committee. I as a Meet Host have no control over these fees. The one thing that sets the YMCA meet apart from the USMS meet regarding the social, is that the social is included and everyone attends and it is great event. This year it should be a "hoot" with the "Polka Boy" band. Hope you will still plan to attend.
No, the local ones are not that much. There may be an entry fee, or a surcharge to enter, but not usually both. Indy can be an expensive place to stay depending on what is going on, but you can get good rates if you play the rate game.
It is a National meet, and even with USA, the National and Regional meets are much more expensive than the local meets.
